Join the No Limits Endurance Team for our 2018 Half Marathon Training Group, which will prepare you to run the Atlantic City April Fools Half Marathon on April 15, 2018.

Training starts the week of January 15th!

 

Half-Marathon Group Training

13 weeks

13 week training plan with run workouts, suggested cross training, and core workouts, provided via the Training Peaks platform, which allows you to log and track your training. Beginner, intermedia & advanced options.

Coached long runs every weekend, Sundays at 7 a.m. (time dependent on sunrise). There may be an option to add a mid-week coached run if there is enough group demand for it.

First long run is Sunday, January 21st.

Private group page on Facebook, monitored by the coaches. Get daily support from your community and ask questions (coaches will answer within 24 hours)

Who can join the half marathon training group? 

Anyone! This group is ideal for any level of runner, as we will offer options for beginner, intermediate and advanced level athletes.

What will the training be like? 

  • No egos - just sweat and smiles! A group of like-minded athletes will work hard to achieve big dreams - from a first time half-marathon finish to a half-marathon PR. This training will work for you! 
  • Depending on your plan level (beginner, intermediate or advanced), the plan will feature 4-5 days of running, along with functional core workouts. We will also include some suggestions for cross-training. 
  • The beginner level training will require that you are able to run or run-walk a minimum of 45 minutes, and are running at least 3 times a week for the past 4-6 weeks. 
  • The intermediate & advanced level programs will require that you are able to run 60-90 minutes continuously, and are running at least 4 times per week for the past 4-6 weeks. 

Who are the Coaches? 

Maria & Zach at the 2015 April Fools' Half Marathon.

This group will be led by Coaches Maria Simone and Zach Adams. Both Maria and Zach are endurance athletes, who train and race right on the Atlantic City April Fools' course. In 2017, Zach ran to third place overall male, and Maria placed as the 6th female overall. (You can see their results by clicking here.)
